  • Hi Received an email this morning stating my order was confirmed , gave order # etc. I did not order anything. It gave a number to call within 24 hrs to cancel. It stated the price was $219.00 plus tax$5.00, and shipping $10 for a total of $234.00 Expected delivery 4-19-21 Today’s date. Luckily I did not call the number, but looked it up first.

  • happened to me today $235.00 phone number 917-740-6963 figured out it was a phishing scam when he gave me the full name of the company.

    • I just received an e-mail like that today. The total for mine was $219. I hate things like this.

  • I also got an email today. Hung up the first time even though I was being very polite. I asked him to tell me what the name was on the order. I just called again and asked him to cancel the order. Can anyone tell me how to contact the BBB? Do I call a local number of is there a national number? I’m in a suburb of Pittsburgh. Thank you.

  • I al so mail this morning stating my order was confirmed , gave order # etc. I did not order anything. It stated the price was $212.00. I did call the number knowing it was a scam…they didnt know any information(i.e. my name…credit card (last four) associated with the charge or even the email associated with order) and had a different price. The caller had a strong indian accent and lots of indian chatter behind him.

  • Received one today for the amount of $199. Didn’t click on any links, nor made any calls. I knew it was bogus when it said “renewal” and didn’t include my name. They, however, are not including any names in the email. Guess they don’t want you calling them asking for them by name….LOL

  • Got the same thing in my email today:
    Thank you for your purchase!

  • I just received an email from United States Technical Association telling me that account is going to be auto-renewed and will charge me on June 9, 2021, which is today. I do not know this company and have never done business with them. This email came from a Vickie Turner. They tried to get remote access to my computer but I did not let them.
It has an order number UT7866A
    Reference number 856558
    Transaction number U493938755

  • I received same email and called this number-865-264-0395. The man insisted he needed me to get on my computer in order for me to get access to a cancellation number and is planning to call me back since I refused at the time because I was certain this did not make any sense and was therefore not legit. I hope he does not harass me. He has my email address and he knew my name.

  • These Scammers appear to be quite busy. You do not have to call to cancel. If you do call they will want you to click the CTRL button on your keyboard to enable them to “Cancel” your order. This gives them control of your computer and then you are in real trouble. Just ignore the message, you will not be charged anything. At this point they do not have any info on you other than your e mail and they do notknow anything other than that even if they could find your e mail again.

  • I received an email, today, claiming to be from “USTA”, and saying I’d made a purchase in the amount of $217, and had 24 hours in which to cancel. I have made no such purchase, so I went online to research USTA. Which brought me here. Here are the phone number, street address, and email address, from that email:

    Phone: 865 316 6680

    Email: Eugene Jackson

Address: 2292 Sundown Lane, Austin, TX 78749 United States
