NOVA SILK ROAD SARL –

N

On 10-14-2020, I ordered two 42 inch high christmas lantern that plays music and has fake flurry snow blowing. I order the stands they go on and, they were advertised as items that could be displayed on your front porch. The items were being sold by Bonnyprotea under the company name NOVA SILK ROAD SARL, 37 rue des Mathurins, Paris, France but came from china. We paid a total of $79.78 plus $14.98 for express shipping to receive in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas, however, when we received the items, the lanterns were less than 5 inches high and the stands were also less than 5 inches high. We were totally ripped off, I couldn’t believe it. Like all scammers, their website looks legit, mentions an email you can write them at and explains a return/refund policy, however, there’s no way to reach them. Messages on website are not responded to and, the emails come back as “Failure Notice” and “Mailer Daemon”. I am attaching picture of 1) what we received and 2) what we were ordered. Going to call my bank tomorrow to see if they can somehow help with this situation. So disappointed, hope no one else falls for this crap.

  • I bought some American Eagle Silver Dollars from ceceliam.com in the beginning of February 2021. A few days later the description of the items was changed, adding the word “plated”. I immediately asked them to cancel the order. Who wants a silver plated dollar? Since early February, it is not March 17 I have contacted then many times requesting that they cancel these orders. Their only response were form letters, none of which addressed my requests, i.e., Your order is being prepared or 20% off. Even my CC company cant get a hold of them, Weeks later they are now shipping the items! I again contacted them through the only means I know, [email protected], telling them again I will not accept these items and will return them. According to their return policy which states,
“You have the right to initiate a return request within 30 days of receiving the package. We will provide a quick exchange and return process. If you have any questions, please contact us.”
The site states that these items were to be shipped from San Francisco, but the tracking number they sent indicates China. In every instance they have not been honest and they don’t respond to email.
It appears that I will have to follow through with a legal process to get a refund.
I was ignorant, after reading this don’t be stupid and not heed this warning. THIS IS A SCAM! DONT DO IT!

  • ORDERED A NECKLACE ON APRIL 1, 2021–AS OF TODAY, APRIL 26, 2021 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ITEM. CANNOT TRACK THE ITEM BECAUSE NUMBER IS NOT IN THE SYSTEM ACCORDING TO THE POST. AM REALLY ANGRY AS THIS WAS TO BE A GRADUATION GIFT. I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A SCAM AND THE COMPANY IS NOT LEGIT. BUYER BEWARE–I FEEL LIKE I WAS TAKEN FOR A RIDE!

  • I am in the midst of a possible scam situation with this same company. I ordered a product (Bionic Spotlight) that I thought was coming from a different corporate entity. I placed the order on May 2nd; shipping was free. On May 6 I received an email telling me my product had shipped. The email included a a tracking number and a ‘Track your shipment’ button which, as of May 12, persistently yields the following message: ‘Sorry! No tracking info yet’ I noticed the email with the tracking number listed the Carrier as ‘Other’. So, I tried the tracking number on the USPS, UPS, DHL, and FedEx Web sites – the format apparently is not any of theirs. On May 10 I emailed the company’s Support department asking who the US-Based carrier is and when I should expect to receive my product. Tp-date, I’ve received no reply whatsoever.
